Blackwing Palomino Blue
The Blackwing Palomino is the second entry in our Blackwing Eras series, inspired by the pencils that marked the beginning of the Blackwing revival. The pencil has an extra Firm graphite, gold stripe, gold Blackwing Palomino imprint, gold ferrule and a white eraser.
Blackwing pencils were a favorite of alternative writers, singers and other artists in the 20th century. Despite cult following, they were discontinued in the 1990s.
In the early 2000s, the owners used their access to the best wood, graphite and craft makers in the world to introduce a premium pencil line we called Palomino. The buzz around Palomino prompted Blackwing fans to bring back Blackwing pencils for a new generation. And in 2010 they put the Blackwings back on the market.
