Sometimes with a lot of color and sometimes almost monochrome: the drawings by Marta Abad Blay are very different when it comes to color and use of material but her style is very recognizable. The lines are simple but very striking and with a lot of emotion.

About the artist Marta Abad Blay

The Spanish Marta Abad Blay has a background in making animation movies. She has always had a passion for drawing too, experimenting with themes, materials and media. Marta Abad Blay came to Holland to make a short movie for the Dutch Institute for Animated movies in Tilburg. This Institute no longer exists. Recently she returned with het family to Spain. Her passion for drawing grew more intense when Marta Abad Blay became a mother. Since april 2016 Marta Abad Blay showed here drawings on social media and instantly they become very popular. Now she has her own webshop and works with resellers. She offers prints, original drawings and works on demand.
