Petite Friture Vertigo Nova Pendant Lamp Medium
With the Vertigo Nova from Petite Friture, designer Contance Guisset has taken the Vertigo pendant lamp to the next level. The iconic design of the Vertigo classic is complemented by a hand-blown glass sphere in the center of the lamp. However, the hood or veil is identical and has the same airy playful, almost vibrating beauty. The veil is formed by almost weightless ribbons of plastic. As a result, the design comes to life beautifully when subjected to soft air currents. It makes you a bit dizzy when you look at it for a long time, hence the name Vertigo. The ribbons or spokes form a beautiful pattern of shadows on the wall.
The veil of the Vertigo lamp is mounted on a sphere of hand-blown glass and equipped with built-in LED technology that gives a soft light. When the black lamp is off, the glass sphere is dark grey, when the black lamp is on, the sphere is white.
The Vertigo Nova Pendant lamp is available in white and black. The white lamp has a white opal glass sphere and the black version has an ash gray glass sphere and gives a somewhat softer light.
