Gift Box of Hibi's magical matches

Our preference for Japanese quality products has brought us to Hibi. This company produces matches that burn for 10 minutes after being struck and spread a wonderful natural scent. This seemingly simple product was created after 3.5 years of development and is a collaboration between three artisan companies in Hyogo Prefecture. The matches are made of high-quality Japanese paper pulp. It burns evenly and slowly and the scent is released immediately. 

This gift pack contains a non-flammable mat and 3 individual packs of Hibi incense matches, each containing 8 matchsticks. The scents are: sandalwood, Japanese cypress and Yuzu (a type of citrus fruit with a wonderful aroma).

Read the supplied instructions for use before using the products.
  • Do not place the match on the mat until the flame has settled and the fire has spread to the incense part (the stick)
  • Do not use it for purposes other than those for which it is intended
  • Avoid storage in hot and humid places to prevent loss of quality

Hibi means 'day to day', or daily, in Japanese. The idea is that you will keep hibi incense around you every day and freely enjoy the scent to suit the mood or occasion of each day. The logo design combines two Chinese characters 'æ—¥' (day) next to each other.
