The Alu shelf by Normann Copenhagen

The Alu Shelf is a study in material efficiency and sculptural elegance. Its design consists of two separate aluminum plates that seamlessly interlock, eliminating the need for additional reinforcement and ensuring a secure and balanced structure thanks to its precision construction. The Alu Shelf is minimalist and durable. With its brushed aluminum surface and protective lacquer finish, it offers a refined yet industrial look.

By precisely bending the material, the Alu Shelf achieves both its function and a striking aesthetic. The result is a closed, architectural form that subtly frames its contents and emphasizes the objects rather than the shelf itself. The Alu is available in three sizes: 80 cm, 60 cm, and 25 cm. This allows for various combinations and can easily accommodate a buffet or kitchen. A single aluminum shelf on the wall can also make a statement in itself.
