Normann Copenhagen REB cord lamp
Reb, an unconventional lighting design, is designed to create an illuminated line in a space, allowing it to be arranged and transformed into a multitude of configurations. Reb is a tactile and playful design. Suspended from the ceiling, it functions both as a functional light source and a sculptural element in the space. Combined with multiple cords and lengths, endless possibilities arise.
Designer Verena Hennig's inspiration came from the idea of creating illuminated lines in a room, creating visual interest through the interplay of light and form.
Reb means "rope" in Danish. The cord consists of five or eight LED strips covered with a white PET mesh tube. Reb is dimmable and available in two sizes with either five or eight light modules. When switched on, the lamp automatically glows at full brightness. Dimming is achieved by tapping the end of the metal tube. There are four settings: high, medium, low, and off.
This is the REB 5 with 5 lighting modules. The bulbs are dimmable and replaceable. The lamp comes with LED bulbs and a ceiling canopy. If you want to hang the lamp in loops, you'll need to order the ceiling loop separately. You can also purchase five mounting rings separately so you can connect strings together.
The accessories, a powder-coated aluminum ceiling loop and a pack of five mounting rings, are also available in our shop.
