Ethnicraft Eda Rack High

The High Eda rack by Ethnicraft combines ample storage space with an open, architectural form. Its various compartments provide room for books, ceramics, art, and personal objects without making the piece look heavy or bulky.

The high version of the Eda rack measures 181 cm in width, 40 cm in depth, and 181 cm in height.

Inspired by nature
The name Eda comes from the Japanese word for ‘branch’. This influence is evident in the way the various components flow into one another; where the wood meets, the joints gradually widen, much like a branch growing from a tree trunk.

These fluid connections soften the shelving unit's geometric lines, giving Eda its distinctive character.

Reaching new heights
While the low Eda rack emphasizes horizontal lines, this high version makes the most of vertical space. The open layout gives each compartment its own distinct spot without completely enclosing the unit.

Use Eda as a bookcase or mix books with ceramics, art, and other objects. This transforms the unit from a mere storage space into a piece of furniture that allows you to create a personal composition.

The Rose Brown finish lends the solid mahogany a warm appearance and highlights the design's sculptural quality.

Part of the Eda collection
The Eda collection is defined by recurring elements: fluid connections, open structures, and balanced proportions. This makes the tall shelving unit a perfect match for the Eda tables, console, and the low Eda shelving unit. Specifications:
