Ferm Living Hem rug large (250 x 160 cm)
Recycled plastic is used for the hand woven Hem rugs. More specifically: from recycled PET yarn, giving the rugs a soft yet durable finish with a tactile, wool feel. The beauty of the material and design is that the rug is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use! This rug therefore also gives a terrace or garden extra ambience. The flatweave rug is detailed with asymmetrical rows of fringe that underline the artisanal feel.

The wool used in production comes from their own or selected local mills dedicated to yarn production, with the wool fibers sourced from India, New Zealand and Europe. The majority of the cotton is BCI certified, while the innovative PET yarn used to make the severeal ferm living outdoor furniture pieces, is made from recycled plastic bottles.
