The Kokeshi dolls are made of Beech wood and meticulously hand painted by Becky Kemp. The dolls are sealed in a hard wearing Satin varnish for a smooth and tactile finish. Muhammad Ali, born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. (January 17, 1942 – June 3, 2016) was an American professional boxer, activist, and philanthropist. Nicknamed "the Greatest", he is widely regarded as one of the most significant and celebrated figures of the 20th century and as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
Kokeshi dolls originate in north-Japan. They are handmade from wood, have a simple trunk and an enlarged head with a few thin, painted lines to define the face.

Who is becky Kemp?
Becky Kemp is the artist behind the creative world of Sketch.Inc. Her work is inspired by geometric expression, Japanese illustrations and Nordic aesthetics. In 2015 she started to work with Lucie Kaas, a Danish company that has the same fascination for geometric expression and loves to tell the stories of the designers they represent.
