Traveler's Company limited Edition factory green Brass
Travelers Company releases a Limited Edition of the brass series in Factory Green. The brass has a green coat of paint in the color that is used in the Nagareyama factory for, among other things, the floors and doors. Through use, the paint layer will slowly (partly) wear off the brass, giving the pen even more character.
This Brass Pencilholder is made of solid brass and is remarkable in its design. It consists of two parts. When “closed” the pencil resembles a bullet casing and measures 98mm. When “opened” it measures 149mm. The parts fit like a glove.
The eraser at the tip of the brass part can be replaced easily when finished (see refill in options).
The Midori Brass series is a stationery line made of solid brass (also see the solid brass ballpoint). This series proudly carries the ‘ages well’-signature; the longer you use it, the better it becomes.
Over time, the copper within the brass alloy oxidizes and your brass item might develop some verdigris (i.e. rust). You could polish your brass item with some metal polish, but we suggest you just leave it, the more scratches, moisty fingerprints and verdigris, the better!
A refill box consists of 3 HB pencils and 2 erasers.
All Brass writing tools are made in a small factory in the outskirts of Tokyo. What used to be a bullet factory during the wars, was turned into a postwar bullet-pen factory.
